Thank You and Good Night I Mean Morning

The only thing worse than quitting NaBloPoMo between days #1 and #29 is forgetting to hit publish on day 30. Especially when all I had to do was say “I did it! The end.” Naturally I wrote a post congratulating myself on finishing this thing (no longer applicable, so now you have this post), but then I wanted to add a gif or something to make it more fun.

Then I got totally sidetracked by helping a friend clean her closet…

Which was awesome because then her roommate found this…

Then I got lost in the memoir section at Barnes and Noble…(Image not found).

Then I lost my mind eating the best cheeseburger EVER at Holeman and Finch…

Where I was totally distracted by the tallest couple that ever lived. They looked like this, but in regular clothes.

And then I went home and partied like this.

Not true. I went to bed. (Image not interesting).

Cut to 5:08am and me waking up, wanting to scream.

So, good for me I flamed out spectacularly.

This may be the only goal I’ve set and didn’t finish. Well besides my marriage, but that’s different. Sort of.

Annnnyway NaBloPoMo for November is over. Yay.

CONGRATULATIONS to all the people who finished strong – you’re AWESOME!

THANK YOU to all of you guys for sticking with me through the other 29 days – you’re AWESOME!

And now I will neglect my blog with great fanfare for at least a week so I can go back to reading yours.

Hooray!

Never, ever help a friend clean out her closet. I try not to clean out my own closets very often because the same thing happens to me that happened to you: I always get distracted from what I was just about to do before I started cleaning. Yadda yadda, I eat a burger, party like it’s 1999 (not like the song, like the actual year because I’m a nerd like that) and then I realize despite all I got done, I forgot to publish my blog post. So let that be a lesson to all of you, and have a good day. I said good day, sir! I mean morning. haha.

Just be glad NaBloPoMo doesn’t occur on the months ending in “Y.” (Although I enjoy your scribs and as a reader, wouldn’t mind it myself.)
